How should we maintain the air source water heater?

Air-energy water heaters are the most comfortable and safe water heaters currently on the market. They are famous for their energy saving and environmental protection. They are a popular type of water heater on the market. As the new generation darling of the water heater industry, what should you pay attention to in daily use of air-energy water heaters? What about maintenance methods?

1. The waterway filter installed outside the machine should be cleaned regularly to ensure clean water quality in the system to avoid damage to the main unit due to dirty filters and blockage.

2. For air source heat pump water heaters, always check whether the power supply of the unit and the wiring of the electrical system are firm, and whether the electrical components are operating abnormally. If so, they should be repaired and replaced in time.

3. Check whether the water pump and water valves are working properly, and whether the water pipes and water pipe joints are leaking.

4. The area around the unit should be kept clean, dry and well ventilated. Clean the air side heat exchanger every year to maintain good heat exchange effect.

5. Frequently check whether the water supply, water tank safety valve, liquid level controller and exhaust device of the water system are working properly to prevent air from entering the system and causing a reduction in water circulation, thereby affecting the heating capacity of the unit and the reliability of the unit's operation.

6. Do not pile up debris around the unit to avoid blocking the air inlet and outlet. The area around the unit should be kept clean, dry and well ventilated.

7. If the shutdown time is long, the water in the unit pipeline should be drained, the power supply should be cut off, and the protective cover should be put on. When running again, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the system before starting it up.

8. Cleaning of the main unit condenser. We recommend cleaning the condenser every two years with hot phosphoric acid solution at 50°C-60°C and a concentration of 15%. Start the main unit's built-in circulating water pump for cleaning for 3 hours, and finally clean it with tap water 3 times. To be taken over during cleaning. It is prohibited to use corrosive cleaning fluid to clean the condenser.

9. When the actual outlet water temperature of the air source heat pump water heater is inconsistent with the value displayed on the unit control panel, please check whether the temperature sensing device is in good contact.

10. The water tank needs to be cleaned of scale after being used for a period of time (usually 3 months, depending on the local water quality).
